(I’m Not Worthy)

Posted by khing at 07:46 PM on December 10, 2007.

Untitled

This crowded street;

is filled with many people with secrets.

There is fog on the glass and whose past has been hidden.

The expressions on your face;

during the last rain.

This alley is too crooked we can’t go back to the original story.

Days are no longer as green.

We have had our arguments again.

What’s left behind is an empty big room.

The seats in the cinema;

Have such a distance in between.

If there isn’t a on-screen partner, if feels like playing chess on your own.

I have yet the time;

in detail;

to pen down everything about you;

describing how much I love you.

But you have already left me with a smile;

This feeling is no longer right.

I have tried to salvage;

Just a little bit more, I should have been more sensitive.

This feeling I didn’t give;

As you pouted, the tired wishes you made and the compromise.

I’ve neglected them all you actually just wanted someone by your side.

This feeling is no longer right.

I finally understood.

Page by page, I can’t bear to flip the scenes.

你好累
You are tired.

You are silently repeating to yourself, and have shed many tears for me.

You look so tired.

Yet my heart aches and you suffer.

Your love is something I am not worthy of.

How to Save A Life

Posted by khing at 10:32 PM on December 14, 2007.

Untitled

Step one you say we need to talk;
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk;
He smiles politely back at you;
You stare politely right on through,
Some sort of window to your right;
As he goes left and you stay right;
Between the lines of fear and blame;
You begin to wonder why you came.

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend;
Somewhere along in the bitterness;
And I would have stayed up with you all night;
Had I known how to save a life.

Let him know that you know best;
Cause after all you do know best;
Try to slip past his defense;
Without granting innocence;
Lay down a list of what is wrong;
The things you've told him all along;
And pray to God he hears you;
And pray to God he hears you.

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend;
Somewhere along in the bitterness;
And I would have stayed up with you all night;
Had I known how to save a life.

As he begins to raise his voice;
You lower yours and grant him one last choice;
Drive until you lose the road;
Or break with the ones you've followed;
He will do one of two things;
He will admit to everything;
Or he'll say he's just not the same;
And you'll begin to wonder why you came.

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend;
Somewhere along in the bitterness;
And I would have stayed up with you all night;
Had I known how to save a life.

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend;
Somewhere along in the bitterness;
And I would have stayed up with you all night;
Had I known how to save a life;
How to save a life;
How to save a life.

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend;
Somewhere along in the bitterness;
And I would have stayed up with you all night;
Had I known how to save a life.

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend;
Somewhere along in the bitterness;
And I would have stayed up with you all night;
Had I known how to save a life;
How to save a life.

"Chasing Cars"

Posted by khing at 12:44 AM on December 15, 2007.

Untitled

We'll do it all;
Everything;
On our own.

We don't need;
Anything;
Or anyone.

If I lay here;
If I just lay here;
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

I don't quite know;
How to say;
How I feel.

Those three words;
Are said too much;
They're not enough.

If I lay here;
If I just lay here;
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told;
Before we get too old;
Show me a garden that's bursting into life.

Let's waste time;
Chasing cars;
Around our heads.

I need your grace;
To remind me;
To find my own.

If I lay here;
If I just lay here;
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told;
Before we get too old;
Show me a garden that's bursting into life.

All that I am;
All that I ever was;
Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see.

I don't know where;
Confused about how as well;
Just know that these things will never change for us at all.

If I lay here;
If I just lay here;
Would you lie with me and just forget the world.

Being Sober

 Care for a Pint

"It has being for a while since I last drank. I being good. I being too good. It's good to have a sip again. The world seemed more colourful, my long gone synapses seems to have stirred back to life, my thoughts, my memory rushing back to me. I found part of my old self. But for how long, I dunno. Rite now, at this moment, just try to savour my old self."

I fought The Angels

Posted by khing at 09:43 AM on December 15, 2007.

Untitled

I fought the angels here today;
Hope my defeat will end this play;
I only have myself to blame;
Everybody knows that;
Softly softly wins the game.

Trust ;
I'll try to learn again;
My words are seldom for a friend.

Knew all the time that they came out;
Wish I could have them disallowed;
Everybody knows that;
We say things we do not mean.
Everybody knows that;
We say things that are unclean.

Trust;
I'll try to learn again;
My words are seldom for a friend.

Run conversations in my head;
Write my own scripts to dish the dread;
And if I speak out loud;
I will have to change the rules;
For speaking out of bounds;
If it's practised by a fool.

Trust ;
I'll try to learn again;
My words are seldom for a friend;
So lend me an ear to lean upon;
To speak to and learn my speaking from.
